Mirar hacia el pasado nos permite entender mejor el presente. Tanto cuando buscamos explicar transformaciones sociales a gran escala como cuando intentamos comprender un objeto particular, el enfoque histórico nos ayuda a comprender cómo hemos llegado hasta aquí.
Este curso explora metodologías y conceptos claves para realizar este análisis de manera fructífera, cubriendo temas de diseño metodológico, técnicas, uso de fuentes, narrativa, uso de técnicas mixtas, entre otros.

To understand the present, we must try to look into the past. Both when we seek to explain large-scale social transformations and when we try to understand a particular object, the historical approach helps us understand how we got here. This course explores key methodologies and concepts to carry out this analysis in a fruitful way, covering topics of methodological design, techniques, use of sources, narrative, mixed methods, among others.
